About you:
In your new role you will:
- Support the Speech Pathology Department at Cairns Hospital in the provision of clinical services to patients within scope of practice guidelines as further outlined below.
- Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments, such as language and communication screens as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.
- Contribute to patient records according to organisational guidelines and legal requirements.
- Actively contribute in CHHHS Speech Pathology team meetings, projects and activities with increasing ownership within scope of practice under the guidance of a speech pathologist.
