About your opportunity:
Innisfail Hospital is a 49-bed rural hospital providing general health care services at level 3-4 clinical service capability framework.
About your role:
- Manage and process all patient related accounts for the Hospital facility, ensuring relevant Health fund forms are completed, and /or payment of relevant fees are received.
- Work autonomously and show initiative in solving basic problems within established guidelines with minimum supervision.
- Maintain harmonious and productive work relationships and be a contributing team member committed to the principle of patient focussed care and the concept of total quality service.
- Assist the Revenue Manager or other Senior Revenue Officers as required with all aspects of Revenue Control including the follow up of patient and sundry debtor accounts as required.
- Ensure all accounting functions comply with the Financial Management Practice Manual.
