About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your role:

  • Demonstrate high level knowledge, skills and experience and apply professional judgement to a broad and complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence to ensure quality use of medicines across all services at the Mareeba Hospital & Lotus Glen Correctional Centre.
  • Provide professional leadership in the development of staff and deliver high level clinical services within a single or multidisciplinary team within the Mareeba & Lotus Glen Correctional Centre pharmacy services based on advanced knowledge and ensuring appropriate medication management.
  • Independently and effectively manage time and resource allocation to ensure a high level of service delivery.
