About your role:
- Act as an advisor to other health staff in issues pertaining to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and traditional practices.
- Develop performance indicators for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sexual health and monitor those programmes to ensure that the service delivery is appropriate and effective.
- Liaise with community members and various organisations to support and encourage community participation and involvement in the promotion of pregnancy options.
- Co-ordinate and participate in the training and development of health workers in the area of sexual health, pregnancy options to ensure that a high standard of health promotion, education, education and care is maintained.
