About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
- Provide Multidisciplinary Allied Health individual intervention of a basic and more complex nature to patients as prescribed by Allied Health professionals.
- Supervise and organise Allied Health intervention in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation group setting under direction and/or supervision of Allied Health professionals.
- Maintain clinical treatment environments including equipment inventory, cleaning and maintenance, and room preparation.
- Undertake a range of ‘non-clinical' activities that support Allied Health service delivery as appropriate including, administration tasks, stocktaking and ordering of supplies, and preparation of individual or generic multidisciplinary patient treatment resources.
- Maintain and manage Equipment Loan Services through monitoring servicing and maintenance, cleaning and tracking of clinical equipment.
