An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Occupational Therapy Service team as an Occupational Therapist – Senior. You will deliver high level Occupational Therapy clinical services across Gordonvale and Cairns Hospital medical wards and other clinical areas as directed, with appropriate community liaison.

About you:
In your new role you will:
- Support individual performance and development processes of less experienced staff, including identifying continuing professional development training needs to ensure safe and effective delivery of services.
- Provide high level clinical advice to peers across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health service.
- Provide leadership within the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams in promoting and conducting activities aimed at continuous quality improvement including the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of clinical services service, review of clinical practices, work instructions and procedures.
- Foster and maintain well developed links with internal (including multidisciplinary team) and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of patient care in a professional manner.
