About you:
In your new role you will;
- Provide high level psychology assessment, consultation, therapeutic intervention and discharge planning for Paediatric patients and their families, particularly where exacerbation of symptoms is associated with psychological distress and adjustment difficulties.
- Utilise high level communication skills to provide professional advice to medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, non-professionals, community organisations and to patients and their carers regarding clinical and health psychology areas.
- Facilitate and contribute to clinical research, education and training activities within the work unit and across the broader service to support quality outcomes for patients.
- Perform the majority of tasks and duties with a high degree of independence, including provision of independent clinical services of a complex and varied nature.
