We welcome you to become a part of the Rural and Remote Services, as a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing at Croydon Primary Health Centre works collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery/Facility Manager (DONM/FM) Atherton to coordinate services through identifying the health needs of the Croydon community, and planning strategies to ensure the health service meets the needs of the communities.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will;
- Provide expertise on nursing/midwifery professional issues in relation to remote health services and collaborate with others in the provision of policy advice issues relating to professional and clinical practice, education and research.
- Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care, and nursing and midwifery supervision to ensure key performance indicators are met and are in line with policy and legislative requirement.
- Promote customer service and hospitality and respond to and adequately resolve complains or concerns from patients or families about nursing and midwifery services and facility issues.
- Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing, midwifery, operational and administration staff, and monitor staff practices and implementation.
