In your role you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on all installed air conditioning, refrigeration, designated electrical systems and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, good practice and task specifications within the Cairns & Hinterland Hospital & Health Service District.

About your role:

• Undertake air conditioning, refrigeration and designated electrical equipment operations and corrective and preventative maintenance to comply with applicable standards.
• Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems and sub-components with specific emphasis on evacuation and charging of gas circuits with the ability to conduct high quality silver soldering to effect same.
• Oversee, monitor and report on the work of contractors with particular emphasis on equipment performance and condition.
