As the Occupational Therapist you will deliver evidence based and patient focused Occupational Therapy clinical services as a part of the Tablelands and Mossman Allied Health team. Utilise increasing professional and clinical knowledge, expertise, and clinical decision-making skills with this role aim to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, enhancing their functional abilities, ensuring a safe discharge plan.

In your new role you will……
- Work cooperatively and effectively, using well developed communication skills, with other service providers and with clients, carers and families, including those from indigenous and CALD backgrounds.
- Apply competent professional clinical reasoning, resilience and problem-solving abilities to a demanding caseload, using valid and reliable clinical evidence, under the supervision or guidance of a more experienced practitioner.
- Support a learning environment within the team and contribute to the development of other health service staff through mentoring, in-services, and sharing knowledge.
