Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service are the public health provider for over 250 000 people in the region. We welcome you to become a part of Integrated Medicine, Emergency, Child and Youth Services as a Clinical Measurement Scientist – Advanced. The Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL) and the Cardiac Investigations Unit (CIU) at Cairns Hospital provide tertiary level cardiac services to residents of Far North Queensland. One of the CCL is a dedicated coronary intervention laboratory while the other is a cardiac electrophysiology (EP) and structural interventional laboratory.

- Provide advanced knowledge to monitor, evaluate and modify cardiac investigations techniques within the department in a mentoring and supervision capacity.
- Exercise independence and problem-solving skills in matters beyond routine day to day practice within accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
