Join a team of 30+ permanent local psychiatrists and 40 training registrars practicing in all subspecialties. We have unique and specific areas of mental health such as rural practice (generalist psychiatry) in the beautiful Cairns hinterland and remote outreach to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities in Cape York to practice cross-cultural psychiatry.
Work in our amazing new facilities; $70million 53 bed Mental Health Unit opened in February 2025; new Adolescent Unit opening later in the year followed by a Mother Baby Unit. Continue learning in our supportive and friendly peer review groups and research networks. Train the next generation in our robust in-house education programme in protected time.
