What you'll do

As the Manager, Clinical Governance you will provide strategic leadership and input to a range of system wide service improvement and quality and safety activities in mental health alcohol and other drugs services. Lead a team of up to ten staff, in the development, implementation and evaluation of state - wide clinical governance and quality and safety initiatives across mental health alcohol and other drugs services. About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated ability in mental health alcohol and other drugs policy analysis, project management, implementation, evaluation, and safety and quality improvement activities.
  • High level knowledge and understanding of the mental health and drug and alcohol treatment service system including the complex interrelationships within the government, nongovernment, and private sectors.
  • High level knowledge and understanding of the application of contemporary evidence-based service delivery models, planning, strategies, legislation and guiding policy documents across the mental health, alcohol and drug sectors and health quality and safety.
  • Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation, and liaison skills with a record of success in working across government, private, and non-government sectors, and with consumers and carers, particularly in relation to sensitive issues and complex ideas and information.
