About us:
The town of Woorabinda is situated on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja Aboriginal people and is a designated Aboriginal Shire Council Community located in Central Queensland, 175 km south-west of Rockhampton.
Duaringa: Just a 40-minute drive from Woorabinda! NOTE: A zero alcohol carriage and possession limit applies to the Community of Woorabinda.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse practicing autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, primarily in the Woorabinda Hospital providing direct nursing care at an advanced level emergency, general inpatient and outpatient care to clients of this predominately Indigenous, rural/remote health care setting.
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
- Advanced Life Support, Paediatric Life Support and Triage are mandatory.
- While not mandatory, further qualification or evidence of further learning relating to Rural and Remote Nursing and or Midwifery/X-Ray Operator would be well regarded.

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
