About us:

Our community care teams provide mental health assessment and treatment services to people who are affected by mental illness. We provide mental health services to adults, children and young people under 18 years of age with serious mental health issues.

About the role:

To deliver high level clinical services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for consumers with mental illness in a community rural mental health setting. Provide clinical coordination and leadership in the intake assessment and crisis response of the Adult Mental Health Service. Deliver high level clinical services including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of complex care needs of consumers and integrating initiatives with high degree of independence in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards within the Adult Mental Health Services. 

About you:

• Hold qualifications and the appropriate registration/certifications to practice in one of the following:
  • Social Work
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Nursing
• Demonstrate a high level of profession specific knowledge, expertise and skill in clinical assessments and intervention within the current legislative and policy context of an Adult Mental Health Service.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives and provide clinical/professional supervision to less experienced practitioners.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high level communication in a demanding multidisciplinary team environment with the need for high levels of risk sensitivity and case review.

Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
