About us:

Located 340 km southwest of Rockhampton, the Springsure Multipurpose Health Service provides 10 acute and 12 Residential Aged Care beds to deliver health care for the people of Springsure, Rolleston and surrounding rural population. Medical, Nursing, Operational and Administrative staff provide 24-hour Accident and Emergency care, Inpatient care, Residential Aged Care and Community Home Support services. The service also supports a range of general Allied Health services and includes a limited pharmacy and x-ray service.

CQ Health provides public health services across Central Queensland, in hospitals and in the community. CQ Health is a statutory body governed by our Board. We serve a growing population of approximately 250,000 people and employ more than 3,700 staff, treating more than 700,000 patients each year. The health service has a diverse geographic footprint, ranging from regional cities to remote townships in the west and beachside communities along the coast.

About the role:

Provide non-clinical support to the Springsure Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) in the areas of porterage, cleaning, food services, linen, ground maintenance and waste management and oversee the daily activities of the Operational Services team.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $3,361 p.m. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $34.02 - $35.66 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
