About the Role:
The Project Officer provides administrative and project delivery support to the Engagement Team. The role requires highly developed research, data analysis, program delivery, critical thinking, organisational, prioritising, communication, writing and executive coordination skills, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- The role supports the project design and implementation of the FlexiSpaces initiative and contributes to the coordination, administration and project delivery of multiple projects within the Engagement Team.
- This role offers the opportunity to leverage your high level organisational, research, data collection, analysis, writing and advanced skills in project design, delivery and executive coordination to ensure projects improve student and youth engagement and educational outcomes. Experience in purchasing, procurement and finance would be an advantage.
- This role involves a high level of interaction with schools and regional teams across the state. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and a positive, solution focussed mindset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in and undertake a designated project.
- Resolve operational problems and assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
- Assist in coordinating the implementation of policies, practices and procedures, relating to the project.
- Assist in the dissemination of project information to departmental staff and members of the public.
- Provide selective dissemination of information services to individuals or groups.
- Assist in fostering a supportive, equitable, ethical and safe work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing material and correspondence relating to the project.
- Maintain and enhance administrative systems and processes to maximise the effectiveness of services.
