ICT Project Services is seeking a Project Officer (Workforce Planning) to join our team on a temporary full-time basis, to backfill staff leave until 29 August 2025, unless otherwise determined.
In this role you will work collaboratively with the Manager, ICT Project Services, and Contract Management and Purchasing to support the end-to-end provision of project workforce planning and contingent labour procurement for ICT enabled projects across the Information and Technologies Branch.

About the Role:

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and participate in project workforce planning activities, including facilitating end-to-end contingent labour recruitment processes for priority projects under the instruction of the Manager ICT Project Services.
  • Research, develop and maintain knowledge of procurement policies and procedures in relation to contingent labour purchasing.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of contingent labour resources.
  • Undertake fortnightly goods receipting of contractor invoices.
  • Support the ICT secretariat in the provision of digital committee support functions.
  • Undertake other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Manager.

It would be highly regarded if the ideal applicant has:

  • Demonstrable skills in the provision of recruitment or procurement support, or willingness to quickly upskill and adapt their existing administrative skillset.
  • The ability to work independently and as a member of a high performing team in a complex operating environment.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) including demonstrated ability to participate in and support liaison, consultation and negotiation with diverse client groups.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn, collaborate, and provide support to your teammates, and become a vital part of helping to promote a safe and welcoming workplace.
  • Experience using Content Manager, SAP, and/or Fieldglass would be highly regarded.
