The successful Senior Infrastructure Services Officer will be appointed to our Leasing, Tenure and Operational Services (LTOS) team. This is a temporary opportunity for someone looking to utilise their exceptional technical and commercial experience to assist us in Building Education in Queensland.

About the Role:
The team covers a broad range of property functions and is responsible for the program and project management of a variety of property related transactions including reconfiguration of lots (amalgamation/subdivision/realignments), creation of easements and excisions, licensing, leasing, deeds of agreement, Joint development agreements, Native Title matters and road closures. LTOS is required to consult and liaise with a range of external stakeholders including other government departments, local government authorities, developers, community interest groups and neighbouring property owners.
You will support and contribute to ensuring site services, access, leasing, maintenance of vacant land and associated relevant actions to achieve site readiness and subsequent tenure actions to facilitate delivery of growth projects.
- Provide operational advice and support to various areas of the department on a diverse range of property related matters, facility planning, investment and portfolio operations that ensure the implementation of quality management practices.
- Manage the reconfiguration of lots (amalgamation/subdivision/realignments), creation of easements and excisions and road closures.
- Engage with a variety of stakeholders within the department, other government agencies, local government and the community.

About You
The ideal applicant will possess the following knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes:
- Although not mandatory, qualifications or industry experience in Acquisition of Land Act, Land Act, Queensland Government Land Transaction Policy, Town Planning principles, property related policy and legislation, tenure conversion, and Native Title and Cultural Heritage will be beneficial.
- Strong research skills and well-developed written skills, including report and brief writing.
- Awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and policy which impact upon a Queensland Government property portfolio.
- Your willingness to stay connected to industry updates and networks, ability to be proactive and forward thinking, with a strong motivation to work towards organisational objectives will assist your success in this role.
