Why this Role?
As part of the Portfolio Performance Reporting Team, you will work closely with key stakeholders and partners across the Division, the department and other Government agencies, in monitoring and reporting performance of DoE's Infrastructure Investment Portfolio.
As the Principal Facilities Services Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and present quality documentation, submissions, reports, briefs and correspondence; demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Use Excel and PowerBI to prepare data and reports that help support decision making
- Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics to the Director, senior management, and relevant government stakeholders, driving continuous improvement through business intelligence tools and optimized workflows.
- Participate in project teams in the development, implementation, maintenance and review of programs, policies and procedures that support the strategic direction of the department
- Establish and maintain networks to monitor issues and changes, and to identify, define and analyse best practice approaches to implementing consistent processes for a range of infrastructure and planning related services

Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder engagement experience
- Skilled communicator delivering complex financial and non-financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Technical:
- Knowledge and understanding of portfolio and program management practices and processes within large organisations
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, delivering innovative solutions to business challenges
- Strong skills with Excel and PowerBi
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet strict monthly reporting deadlines
