About the Role:

As the Support Officer you will support the Governance Risk and Compliance unit in this dynamic and changing role to:

  • Assist in reporting, monitoring and analysing activities.
  • Coordinate ICT governance activities and liaise with business areas as required.
  • Assist in managing risk and audit actions including undertaking basic risk assessments.
  • Review and promote ICT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Provide document quality checks (links, plain English, consistent use of terminology, alignment to templates etc.)
  • Provide general administrative support.

About you:

Whilst intermediate level use of Content Manager, Microsoft Word and Excel is required, you will need to prove:

  • Experience analysing and presenting information.
  • Ability to take responsibility for delivery of quality work outcomes.
  • Attention to detail and the accuracy of information.
  • Ability to write information clearly and consistently in adherence to the department's style guide.
  • A proactive and common-sense approach to your work.
