Why this Role?

As our Project Officer, you will play a key role in planning, creating and delivering targeted, engaging content that promotes teaching as a rewarding career and attracts teachers to state schools across Queensland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creative communication: Demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively across various formats including eDMs, web and social media, with a flair for storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Digital content & channel management: Experience basic website content mangement via a CMS, curating and scheduling social media content and maintaining consistency across digital platforms.
  • Audience engagement and segmentation: Proven skills in creating and scheduling targeted communications using segmentation strategies, managing subscriber lists (Vision 6 a bonus) and improving reach and engagement.
  • Analytical and outcome-focused: Ability to use and understand data, monitor communication effectiveness and apply insights to continuously improve results.
  • Organised and adaptable: Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

The Perfect Fit!

  • Experience in government, education or a relevant sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Teach Queensland channels and initiatives would be advantageous.
  • A relevent tertitary qualification would be well regarded.
