Who We Are:
The ERP Project is a transformative initiative aimed at modernising our financial system to enhance service delivery and efficiency across the department. As part of this critical project, you will have the opportunity to lead procurement strategies that ensure value for money, mitigate risks, and support the successful delivery of project outcomes.
Your Role:
As the Manager, you will:
- Provide expert procurement advice
- Lead the development, negotiation and management of complex contracts with external vendors and service providers
- Ensure compliance with Queensland Government procurement polices while optimising value and minimising risks.
- Based in Brisbane City with flexible work options available
- Position reports directly to the Project Director
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement best practice procurement strategies and systems to meet business needs and ensure consistency.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including risk management, market engagement, and contract negotiations.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and prepare high-quality reports, briefing materials, and correspondence for senior management and stakeholders.
