The Teacher Recruitment Team is seeking experienced recruitment professionals to join our state-wide team.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality teacher recruitment services to Queensland state schools, managing end-to-end recruitment activities including candidate screening, job matching, and vacancy fulfilment. You will play a key role in building and maintaining a strong, state-wide talent pool, ensuring positions are filled efficiently while providing exceptional candidate care throughout the recruitment journey. Your commitment to outstanding customer service and your recruitment expertise will directly support our vision of a progressive, high-performing education system that realises the potential of every student.

While flexible arrangements may be considered, the preferred location for this role is Central Office, Mary Street, Brisbane.

About the Role

As a Senior Teacher Recruitment Officer, you will:

  • Undertake activities to support teacher recruitment including candidate screening and job matching.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with candidates, Teacher Recruitment team members to ensure candidate care and delivery of quality teacher recruitment services.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all correspondence.
  • Employ high level computer literacy utilising Springboard and ServiceNow to undertake candidate management and vacancy tracking.
  • Confidently communicate providing consultancy services in relation to a diverse range of human resources and recruitment policies and practices relating to Teacher Recruitment.
  • Understand and maintain currency with the legislative frameworks for human resource management within the Queensland Government including Acts, Awards, Directives and Agreements to ensure compliance with industrial instruments.
  • Undertake regular data cleansing of candidate and vacancy information to maintain accuracy.
