Infrastructure Services Division is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Services Officer to join the Housing Infrastructure team on a permanent basis.
You will provide high quality advice and support relating to all aspects of tenancy and leasing within Infrastructure Services Division, with a strong focus on financial oversight and compliance.
We are seeking applications from people who are agile, demonstrate sound financial literacy, and are enthusiastic about contributing to effective tenancy and financial management outcomes.

About Us:
The Housing Infrastructure team administers tenancy and leasing processes for teacher housing in rural and remote locations.
A small housing portfolio is owned by the department, while the majority of the 3,000 properties are leased from a range of sources including government-owned housing and private rental markets.
The team operates in a high-volume, complex environment requiring strong financial management, collaboration and adaptability to evolving systems and processes.
About the Role:
As the Senior Infrastructure Services Officer, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:
- Undertake research, analysis and evaluation to support business improvements, including financial and operational performance, and provide guidance to team members to implement improvements and promote best practice.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external networks, including providing leadership support within the team to ensure consistent, compliant and efficient tenancy and leasing processes.
- Provide high level advice, information and support services across a broad range of teacher housing issues, including interpretation of financial, tenancy and leasing data to inform decision-making and service delivery.
About You:
- You're conscientious - you have demonstrated/ or demonstrated the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and understanding of contemporary Government property management legislation, policies, procedures and capacity to provide this as professional advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders. You demonstrate sound financial literacy and attention to detail in managing tenancy-related financial processes.
- You're motivated - you display drive for business efficiencies and improvement in the established tenancy and management financial management of teacher housing.
- You're resilient - you have a proven ability to operate within a high-pressure environment, working autonomously and as a member of a team and establish productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
- You're proactive - you have a proven ability to ensure best practice in the development, implementation and review of strategies, policies and procedures and to be responsive to emerging tenancy and leasing management issues.
