About the Role

Contribute to the design and delivery of professional learning that builds consistent, evidence-informed and person-centred practice to enhance engagement, belonging, wellbeing and outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver capability-building across regions (face-to-face and online).
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing and belonging across stakeholder networks.
  • Prepare and review briefings, reports and communications to support governance, evaluation and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate to contextualise professional learning to local needs while aligning with departmental frameworks and strategies.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with regional staff, partner agencies and stakeholders.
  • Apply sound judgement to manage competing priorities, track progress and meet timelines.
  • Use digital tools and systems to enhance communication, collaboration and delivery.
  • Model professionalism, adaptability and inclusive practice that contributes to a positive workplace culture

About You

You will bring:

  • Experience supporting the design, development and delivery of professional learning that builds workforce capability.
  • Strong face-to-face training, facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to represent departmental policies and procedures accurately and engage meaningfully with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in student support and/or complex case management practice, including experience working with young people and families. A background in a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with or alongside families, young people and service networks to support students at risk of disengagement.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing high-quality PowerPoint presentations and online learning materials that are practical, impactful and visually engaging.
  • Experience managing, or the ability to coordinate, the logistical and technical requirements of training delivery, including venues, AV/IT setup and equipment.
  • Experience or transferable skills in procurement processes, including sourcing and coordinating training venues and related services.
  • Ability to maintain and apply contemporary knowledge of case management practice and frameworks.
  • Strong project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of departmental frameworks, policies and priorities for supporting priority cohorts.
  • Commitment to inclusive, ethical and culturally safe practice consistent with departmental values and the Student Learning and Wellbeing Framework.
  • A current Blue Card (or ability to obtain) and willingness to engage in practice-based activities (e.g. shadowing or role-swaps with regional staff) to maintain practice currency.

Desirable:

  • Experience in developing online learning materials and resources for digital delivery.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, QLearn or other Learning Management Systems (LMS), or the ability to rapidly acquire these capabilities.
