About the Role:
As Principal Communications and Marketing Officer based in our CBD central office, you will support the people of Queensland through the delivery of key communication services.
The role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to deliver a range of strategic communications projects and activities to education and corporate clients, and the broader community.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead enterprise level communication projects ensuring effective liaison and consultation with key stakeholders.
- Deliver high quality, responsive communication services within an account management framework.
- Develop and implement innovative communication strategies that support and promote state schooling and the work of the department.
- Prepare a range of audience-focused and engaging materials for traditional, social media and other digital channels
- Identify, prepare and distribute departmental good news that supports the department's commitment to engaging storytelling.
About You:
It would be highly desirable to have the following skills and experience:
- Some experience working within an account management framework and nurturing effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders would be advantageous.
- A tertiary qualification in communications or a related field is desirable.
