As a Senior Human Resources Services Officer, you will provide operational and advisory support across a range of recruitment and selection activities, working closely with your team, clients and stakeholders to deliver accurate, responsive and high-quality recruitment services.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of recruitment functions including specialised recruitment activities, while building strong working relationships across the department.

About the Recruitment Services Team

The Recruitment Services team supports recruitment activities across school support, school leader and corporate cohorts by delivering reliable, accurate and customer-focused recruitment services. The team works closely with hiring managers, school leaders and HR colleagues to provide practical advice, coordinate recruitment processes and support compliant recruitment outcomes.

About the Role

  • Manage, triage and escalate (where required) recruitment and staffing enquiries through shared inboxes and communication channels.
  • Coordinate and process request to advertise activities - just like this one - for  school and corporate vacancies.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment and selection for specialised recruitment requests including processing and advisory support.
  • Review and process recruitment outcomes and associated documentation accurately.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to clients and stakeholders on recruitment and selection processes, escalating complex matters where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support recruitment activities and ensure compliance with legislative and departmental requirements.
  • Process exemption/limited advertising requests, prepare accurate and timely recommendations, and provide advice and support to the HR Consultant in line with relevant legislation.
  • Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day support to new team members to build capability and support effective performance in the role.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the delivery of consistent, high-quality recruitment services.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources Services Officers, Senior Human Resources Services Officers and Human Resources Consultants to support team priorities and service delivery.

About You

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Have experience providing administrative or operational support within a recruitment, staffing or human resources environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Have strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Are organised and able to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Can interpret and apply policies, procedures and recruitment processes.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing positively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and a commitment to quality customer service.

A proactive approach, professionalism and the ability to build positive working relationships will support success in this role.
