About the Team:

The Policy and Funding Negotiations (Schooling) team is primarily responsible for overseeing implementation of the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement 2025-2034. The team is also responsible for briefing and analysis on a range of national policy issues as part of the Department of Education's engagement in intergovernmental forums.

About the Role:

As Director, Policy and Funding Negotiations (Schooling) you will:

  • Provide leadership in education, strategic policy and planning through the effective development and implementation of frameworks and systems that drive and enable the achievement of strategic imperatives.
  • Lead and direct project teams and undertake planning, analysis and development of strategic initiatives that inform the future position of the department with regard to education.
