About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to lead the implementation and review of the strategic plan for the education and skills development of allied health staff within Community and Oral Health (COH) and Metro North Health (MNH) more broadly. To develop, deliver, facilitate and coordinate quality education for allied health staff and students, and multi-disciplinary staff in COH both independently and in collaboration with Allied Health Professionals, Discipline Directors and other COH Educators.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Partnering with tertiary and vocational education providers to enhance the learning experiences of allied health students including scheduling, supporting and trouble shooting while maintaining relationships with relevant specialist clinical organisations
- Possess and maintain well developed clinical knowledge and skills within the relevant profession by having a program of continuous self-improvement and professional development, including identified educator development programs and specialist training and research
- Provide advanced allied health leadership and advice in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that enhance and support service delivery across the care continuum
