About the role
The Senior Supply Officer is responsible for undertaking a range of tasks associated with inventory management and physical distribution of clinical supplies and equipment throughout facilities within Community and Oral Health.
The Supply Officer is required to provide a high level of client focused service to ensure a high-quality, responsive supply service. Undertake a range of tasks associated with the effective operation of the physical distribution function, including receipt, warehousing, distribution and delivery and support to storage locations throughout Community and Oral Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Perform end-to-end functions associated with the receipt, handling, storage, picking and packing, dispatch and delivery of stores and supplies.
- Build functional partnerships with Metro North supply personnel, external suppliers and Community and Oral Health staff in relation to supply matters.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or anomalies identified in relation to receipt, handling, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and delivery of stores.
- Investigate and respond to customer queries and complaints, ensuring a high quality and timely outcome is provided.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines including maintenance of a safe working environment and work practises.
- Utilise software applications including SAP S/4HANA and the Microsoft Office Suite to support comprehensive inventory and procurement activities relevant to the role.
- Promote a culture of high-level customer service to build relationships with customers (clinical and non-clinical staff) and suppliers.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential supply and ordering issues, including pricing variations, receipting, and invoicing discrepancies and interrogation of vendor proof of delivery.
