About the role

The purpose of the role is to autonomously undertake a range of duties which provide an effective and confidential administrative service. as directed by the Line Manager within PACS / Home Hospital / Community and Oral Health Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.
  • Ensure the client confidentiality is always maintained in accordance with Queensland Health Policy.
  • Accurately and efficiently register patients and clients in various Queensland Health electronic systems and databases such as HBCIS, MessageMedia Hub, ESM, ieMR, RMS and S4Hana.
  • Provide administration support to frontline clinical/business support staff, including reception and switchboard services for Community and Oral Health Services and to supply a range of administration duties required to deliver client focussed, high quality and efficient services.
  • Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support including the production of high-quality documents and records, enquiry screening and diary management as required, including the timely provision of necessary records and documentation required by the Line Manager.
  • Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
