About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to undertake a range of duties which provide an effective and confidential administrative service as directed by the Line Manager and Nurse Unit Manager within Community and Oral Health. Community and Oral Health (COH) provides accessible, culturally safe, and compassionate care to patients in our community-based outpatient facilities, in our residential facilities and bedded services, in our patient's home, as well as at our oral health clinics and mobile dental vans.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
- Comply with policies, procedures, standards and guidelines relevant to the position, including human resource management, workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of departmental / organisational goals
- Maintain an effective records management system and manage computerised databases including an efficient mail and document tracking system.
