Purpose
The Principal Project Officer is a member of the Projects and Design team in the Centre for Leadership Excellence (CLE).
The Principal Project Officer will:
- Produce, maintain, and evaluate engaging statewide learning programs to Queensland Health employees across traditional and digital mediums.
- Review and evaluate training programs to provide expert advice on contemporary learning practices.
- Apply an evidence-based approach to the design, delivery and evaluation of initiatives, utilising data, research, and best practices to drive effective outcomes.
Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
- Public service employees who work in roles that require attendance at a hospital or other facility where clinical care or support is provided must be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (refer to Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70).

- Demonstrated high level knowledge of contemporary approaches to the design and delivery of learning and development products and services.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, build and evaluation of capability programs.
- Proficiently use leading edge technologies and tools to create engaging capability resources.
- Demonstrated ability to build workforce capability in large, complex organisations.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead consultation and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders to form collaborative solutions and implement appropriate strategic responses.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes and manage competing work priorities to meet agreed deadlines and commitments.
