As the Clinical Nurse Consultant with ORI you will support satellite and primary sites across Queensland to implement the Australia Teletrial Model to ensure improved access to clinical trials for rural, regional and remote patients in Queensland. This role requires clinical expertise as well as clinical research coordinator expertise in order to facilitate key operational functions across clinical trial sites ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements for research ethics, governance and the safe conduct of clinical trials. This is a fixed-term temporary opportunity (12 months) with full-time hours located in the coastal city of Townsville.

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant with ORI you will support satellite and primary sites across Queensland to implement the Australia Teletrial Model to ensure improved access to clinical trials for rural, regional and remote patients in Queensland. This role requires clinical expertise as well as clinical research coordinator expertise in order to facilitate key operational functions across clinical trial sites ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements for research ethics, governance and the safe conduct of clinical trials. About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Experience as a senior clinical research coordinator or research unit manager within large health systems would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, ICH GCP guidelines and the Queensland Health Research Ethics and Governance Directive and Research Management Policy.
- Demonstrated significant operational and strategic experience in research ethics, governance and clinical trials processes and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to establish and manage productive professional relationships and networks with a variety of stakeholders.
- Flexible and agile professional mindset and approach, including the ability to manage multiple and complex responsibilities, show initiative, problem solve complex tasks and work autonomously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise way.
