Park Avenue State School are seeking applications from a flexible, relational teacher with a good understanding of the Australian Curriculum and reasonable adjustments to support all learners to work in our Early Childhood Development program and inclusion space across all years. Experience working with students with disabilities, ability to form relationships with students quickly and collaborate with staff and parents to support student wellbeing and engagement would be beneficial.

The school has a deep investment in community partnerships and houses a strong ECDP program to enhance successful transitions for students with disabilities. Any specific health care training associated with working with students in the ECDP will be provided however expertise in working with students with disabilities is essential. The successful candidate will be provided with a flexible timetable supporting a range of students across both the ECDP and the primary school.

• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
