Rockhampton is one of the oldest towns in Queensland and the rich history of the town is displayed throughout. Built on the banks of the Fitzroy River the town is home to many heritage listed buildings that give the town a vintage charm. There is also easy access to the stunning Southern Great Barrier Reef and accompanying Keppel Islands just a short drive away in Yeppoon. These islands offer year-round crystal-clear waters and coral diversity to rival the Whitsundays.
