About Mistake Creek State School

The school is currently a hub for the general Mistake Creek district and it is used by local groups for various events, including the Mistake Creek Progress Association  and the Mistake Creek Playgroup.

Parents and staff continued to work together to enhance the learning opportunities provided at our school. Each day the students learn and achieve to the best of their ability in their pursuit of excellence. Our school is a happy, safe and stimulating environment. 

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
  • Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
  • Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families.
  • The compiling and supervising of class rolls.
