About the Role
Being part of the Student Wellbeing program, we aim to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school. The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing program work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position. As a school based Social Worker, you will work with students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. You will provide individual intervention, group intervention and provide whole school support.
We currently have positions available in Rockhampton, Gladstone and Biloela areas with a range of permanent and temporary positions available, across primary school clusters and high school clusters.

This is a PO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the PO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the PO3 once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of PO2 to PO3 classification range.
