This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.

Moranbah East State School is one of two primary schools located in the Central Qld Region, 200km west from Mackay Qld. We provide educational services for students from Prep to Year 6 and are extremely proud of our students, our staff and collectively - our team.

About the Role
As a Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities, you will:
- Perform a range of activities to ensure the school is maintained to a high standard.
- Have independence to perform various grounds and facility services.
- Assist with security duties and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
