About the Role:

These are some of the key responsibilities and desirabilities associated with the role:

  • Financial Management: Overseeing school budgets, monitoring expenditure, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with departmental financial procedures.
  • Human Resources: Managing non-teaching staff, assisting with recruitment processes, and supporting staff development and performance.
  • Facilities and Asset Management: Coordinating maintenance of school grounds and buildings, managing assets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Strategic Planning and Administration: Supporting the principal with operational planning, policy development, and contributing to long-term resource planning.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Managing purchasing processes and supplier relationships to ensure value for money and contract compliance.
  • Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with parents, local businesses, and the broader community to support school initiatives and resource development.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in managing teams and providing guidance to administrative and support staff.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and school administration systems (e.g. OneSchool, SAP, or similar platforms).
