Junior School (Years 7 and 8) from Semester 2, 2025 with the possibility of extension.
This role is ideal for an energetic leader with a strong student-centred approach, who can support young adolescents as they transition from primary to
secondary school and establish strong foundations for success in high school.

This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 14 July 2025 until 12 December 2025 with possible extension, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
As the Deputy Principal (Junior School Years 7 and 8) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, community groups.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand policies and legislation affecting the department.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
As a key member of the Executive Team:
- You will play a central role in shaping and implementing the school's 2025 Annual Implementation Plan, with a particular focus on student engagement, wellbeing, and academic growth in the early years of secondary schooling.
- You will demonstrate exceptional relational and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive partnerships with students, staff, families, and the wider community.
