About the Role:
As the Principal Education Officer, Student Services you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of inclusive schooling practices, including the enhancement of capacity building methodologies and the professional learning needs of specialist regional staff.
- Provide strategic and operational advice to regional leaders on the delivery of specialist regional services that assist inclusive schooling practices for students with diverse learning needs.
About You:
- Work as part of a team of three Principal Education Officers, Student Services across our region.
- Understand diverse learners/students with disabilities.
- Have a passion to build capability of school-based teams.
- Demonstrate strategic leadership and vision.
- Have exceptional organisational and people skills.
- Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Be based in either Rockhampton or Emerald, with the option of flexible work arrangements.
- May be required to travel away from base at selected times.
