About the Role:

As the Principal Education Officer, Student Services you will:  

  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive schooling practices, including the enhancement of capacity building methodologies and the professional learning needs of specialist regional staff.
  • Provide strategic and operational advice to regional leaders on the delivery of specialist regional services that assist inclusive schooling practices for students with diverse learning needs.

About You:

  • Work as part of a team of three Principal Education Officers, Student Services across our region.
  • Understand diverse learners/students with disabilities.
  • Have a passion to build capability of school-based teams.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership and vision.
  • Have exceptional organisational and people skills.
  • Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be based in either Rockhampton or Emerald, with the option of flexible work arrangements.
  • May be required to travel away from base at selected times.
