About the Role
As the Senior Project Officer, Community Engagement (Identified), you will have a pivotal role in supporting a range of tasks including but not limited to:
- Support the establishment of Shared Decision-Making Bodies and the development of a shared decision-making process between the school and the community
- Support the establishment of a Traditional Owner Language Advisory Group and the development of a Traditional Language and Culture program between the school and the Traditional Owners of the local community.
- Provide clear and regular reporting to senior officers and other staff within the division on project progress or other agreed key performance indicators to assist in monitoring and decision making.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with departmental officers and community members to discuss, evaluate and revise plans, systems and procedures.
Travel is required for this position.
