About the School
The Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre (BIEEC) is a residential and day-visit education facility operated by the Department of Education, Queensland, offering programs for students from Prep to Year 12. Our mission is to enhance school-based curriculum by providing authentic, stimulating, and real-world learning experiences beyond the classroom. With a focus on innovative environmental education, we are driven by passionate and highly skilled staff who deliver enriching programs that inspire students. About the Role
As the Principal, you will be responsible for delivering the department's vision and driving improvements in student outcomes across the school. You will focus on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring that both teachers and students thrive. Additionally, you will cultivate positive relationships between students, teachers, the community, and key stakeholders, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment that supports the growth and success of all.
Your Responsibilities
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
