About the Role:

As a Family Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in helping children transition successfully into school, develop positive attendance and behaviour patterns, and overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialist staff to identify student needs and connect families with essential services, including health and developmental supports.
  • Provide targeted assistance to vulnerable children from diverse backgrounds, including First Nations students, children with disabilities, and those in care.
  • Support families to strengthen their capacity to enhance their child's learning, wellbeing, and ongoing school engagement.
  • Advocate for children and families to address needs and improve learning outcomes.
Familiarity with local services and community demographics is highly regarded.
