About the School 

Glenden State School Kindy-12 campus has forged a very strong school community partnership over the past several years.  As a result, our students have benefited from educational opportunities within the classrooms and through lifelong learning experiences available to them.  Collectively, this has provided them with a solid foundation to begin their early year's education and continue through to becoming active members of society at the completion of Year 12. 

About the Role  

As the Principal, you will lead with purpose and vision, driving the department's mission forward while ensuring excellence in every aspect of school life. You will be responsible for delivering the department's vision, improving educational outcomes for all students, and fostering a culture of high-quality teaching and learning. Through your leadership, you will inspire continuous growth, promote collaboration, and build strong, positive relationships among students, teachers, the wider community, and key stakeholders to create an environment where every learner can thrive. 

Your Responsibilities 

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
