About the Role
The AO3 Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of school operations. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will undertake a variety of administrative tasks across human resources, finance, facilities, and general school operations. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you will provide professional, friendly, and responsive service while supporting the school's daily operations and key initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative and reception support to students, parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Coordinating and delivering school-based administrative functions, including finance, human resources, facilities, and records management.
- Processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting budget reviews and financial operations.
- Assisting with student records, enrolment processes, attendance monitoring, and data entry into departmental systems.
- Supporting the management of resources, asset management, facilities, and minor works projects in collaboration with the Business Manager.

About You

- Experience in administrative functions such as finance, records management, and office support, ideally within an education or government setting.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities.
- Competence in using software applications such as Microsoft Office, with experience in departmental systems (e.g., OneSchool, QParents, QGov) highly regarded.
