Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Generate daily absenteeism reports, send SMS notifications, and follow up with teachers regarding amendments to attendance records.
  • Produce the Daily Attendance Report each morning for House Deans and Deputy Principals.
  • Coordinate data to determine reasons for absence, particularly for students who are persistently or chronically absent, and liaise with support teams including Student Support Officers, Head of Special Education, and the Guidance Officer.
  • Maintain accurate databases of students where attendance may be impacted by legal, safety or care arrangements.
  • Forge positive links between school and families to encourage student engagement and address barriers to attendance.
  • Assist in implementing strategies to improve attendance and provide information to teachers to support students with emerging non-attendance issues.
  • Provide general administrative support including student counter duties, timetable variation support (SBAs, work experience, off-campus programs) and general administrative tasks.
