About the Role
As the Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the effective and efficient administrative management of the school. Reporting to the Principal, you will provide corporate services and administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the college. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day office operations, including reception, correspondence, and school records.
- Supervising and supporting school support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Assisting with budget preparation and overseeing financial matters such as accounts, reconciliations, and banking.
- Coordinating the management of school resources, assets, and facilities, including maintenance and minor works.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
This role would suit a highly organised and proactive individual with a passion for supporting student outcomes through effective school management.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle competing priorities.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using management systems such as OneSchool or similar platforms.
